About Dr. Darian Jones
A highly qualified educational administrator with years of experience, Dr. Darian C. Jones has furthered his expertise via a number of professional development efforts across the United States. In 2004, he participated in the Harvard Change Leadership Group and partnered with the Institute for Student Achievement from 2005 to 2009 in transforming a comprehensive underperforming urban high school into four high achieving small schools with four principals. Additionally, he has trained at the Center for Creative Leadership as well as Staub Leadership Intensive Development Training. Dr. Darian Jones has also made presentations at conferences held by major organizations such as the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and the Virginia Association of Elementary School Principals. Currently, he is participating in a year-long Tennessee Charter Fellowship, which coordinates with communities to provide the best educational opportunities for youths in Memphis,Tennessee. Executive Fellowship recipients receive training that helps them play an integral role in improving the educational experience at underperforming schools.
